It has taken me a while to write this post but here goes. I was recently watching
The Imitation Game I was enchanted by this brilliant portrayal of a man who lived a life of shadows. Alan Turing was the World War Two Codebreaker who was persecuted for being gay. To not be able to love someone because it was illegal must have created paradigm shifting levels of heartbreak inside, but to find your true love at 14 for it to be taken away from you, must go beyond any imagination conceivable. I am glad that I now know his story, because everyone deserves love in their lives from whomever they choose.
Sign the petition below to honour Alan's legacy and lets take the burden away from the other 49000 men who were prosecuted for being gay.
